With a winter jam packed full of musical acts it can be hard to decide where to spend your hard earned money, but try to forego an extra coffee today and instead spend that money on Moon Taxi tonight at the Pink Garter Theatre. The bands electric shows have shocked and demanded attention from audiences nationwide, and now it is your chance to see them in action. In the midst of touring for their new album Mountains Beaches Cities the band will be making their way to the mountains themselves and playing in our quaint alpine town. As Moon Taxi has gained recognition over the past couple of years they have catapulted into fame, but their latest album shows that while they may be exploring new terrain, they are still sticking to the sound that makes them unique. Using a distinctive mix of progressive indie-rock and a psychedelic southern sound Moon Taxi thrills with an invigorating and soulful live performance that will surprise and captivate you. he quartet does an excellent job of translating their studio material to the stage, and it will be a stellar opportunity to see their new material live.
