Wyoming Whitewater Championships

The 15th annual Wyoming Whitewater Championships is coming up this weekend, June 10-12, with events on the Snake River, Greys River and Hoback River in Northwest Wyoming. The temperatures are warming up, the river flows are increasing and this is lining up to be an action packed weekend of rafting, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.

Surfing Lunchcounter

Land-locked surfers from Idaho, Montana and Wyoming gather at the Snake River to ride the river-driven waves. As the Snake River continues to rise, expect waves like “Lunch Counter” to grow in size and maybe even barrel. After a certain point, the flood of water in the canyon blows the wave out, but it’ll come back later in the season. Hang Ten Jackson Hole!
