12/21/11 – Waking up to freshly fallen snow is something we’ve all been waiting for. Four inches was enough for riders to get out early and find a few soft turns in Jackson Hole.

12/20/11 – Members of the Jackson Hole High School ski team hit Snow King for an afternoon practice session. “The town hill” is the home base for the Broncs and has played host to numerous ski races and events since Mike O’Neil built the first ski jump here in 1925

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened up the Sublette chairlift on Saturday for the first time in the 2011/12 ski season. The opening of the Sublette chair allows access to the upper mountain & soft snow on north facing aspects.

The crowd is starting to get antsy moments before Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened for the 2011/2012 ski season. Those who braved the chilly morning wait for the Bridger Gondola were treated to beautiful bluebird skies and soft untracked turns on the mountain.
