Teton Fly Fishing Report

Current fly fishing conditions provided by Fish the Fly guide service. This week, they helped United States Senator Mike Enzi land native cutthroat on the Snake River.

Another weekend full of music descends upon the region that will have both sides of Tetons jamming into the night. An eclectic lineup of musicians will be feature sounds of mountain blue grass, Americana, and electronic beats. We preview some of the notable acts visiting the Tetons this weekend.

The Snake is finally dropping to fishable levels, 2800 cfs out of Jackson Lake Dam and 5180 cfs at Moose. There is clear water from the Dam to a few miles below the confluence with the Buffalo Fork, where clarity drops to 2 feet.

Shaping a shot between distant peaks on the horizon adds to the lure of golfing in the Tetons. We spotlight area courses and offer details about golfing in the Teton Region.

Cultural Exhibits in Grand Teton National Park

The heritage of the great American West is alive in the hospitality of locals and the preservation of its wide open scenery. Grand Teton National Park offers a variety of ways for visitors to connect with the history of the region. Inside the boundary of the National Park are a number of locations to take advantage of cultural opportunities.

Photo Wrap Up

Last week, the 2011 Teton Country Fair set-up shop in Jackson and gave locals and visitors alike plenty of reason to swarm to the rodeo grounds. From carnival rides and fair food, to pig wrestling and figure 8 races, there was entertainment for everybody. Our photographers were on hand to capture all the action.
