The first annual Locals’ Film Festival was held last weekend at the Rose and showcased the work of over 20 local film makers. KGB Productions, Purple Orange and Aion Headwear all came together to present the event which showed films of all different genres on screens around the bar and in the lobby of the Pink Garter Theatre.

Along with live music, the Pole Pedal Paddle, and Gaper Fool’s Day celebrations, the Mountain Festival also includes a tribute to ski mountaineering legend Doug Coombs. The 3rd annual Coombs Classic celebrates the life of Doug, who pushed the boundaries of skiing and changed the sport forever.
