Solo Snowshoe

I am a loner, and I am not afraid to admit it. I enjoy spending time in nature by myself and love living in Jackson Hole because I have plenty of space to get outside with my camera without anyone in sight. In the winter however, my preferred sport of backcountry snowboarding isn’t very conducive to solo missions.

Huckleberry Hot Springs

It’s nice to have good friends come and visit you in this amazing place we are lucky enough to call home. It brings back a joyful sense that reminds you why you came here to begin with, the unique beauty of this place. I was lucky enough to be reminded of this on a recent trip to Huckleberry Hot Springs. Seeing someone’s reaction to experiencing Jackson Hole for the first time is a rejuvenating thing to witness.

Skiing 25 Short in Grand Teton National Park

I am not a morning person. If you wake me up before 7:00 am, you better have damn good reason and a hot cup of coffee waiting for me. These good reasons are limited to three things: work, early flights, and the promise of snowboarding powder.

On Snow and Ice and Rock Episode 2 - Moran Adventure

In the second episode On Snow and Ice and Rock series, Dorian Densmore and Brandon Gust take us along for a ride to the southwest couloir of Mt. Moran. Starting on the Grand Targhee side of the Tetons, these two skin across the range and get some pretty amazing views along the way.

The tail end of the fly fishing season on the Snake River has been hot! Cold nights and warm afternoons have Cutthroat on the feed, and like us, they know inevitable onset of winter is coming.
