After party at The Rose – DJ VertOne

Early season conditions reminiscent of November 2010, the year Jackson Hole opened with tram laps, has the Teton Region buzzing with anticipation for the approaching winter season. As if on cue, the doctors of free ride alchemy at Storm Show Productions step up quench the thirst for powder dreams with the world premiere of Frosty Flakes on Saturday at the Center for the Arts in Jackson WY.

The latest creation from Storm Show Production builds upon the 2012 feature Most Wanted incorporating an expanded production team to include Ryan Halverson and Josh Mandel. While last years film, Most Wanted, focused on the backcountry scene in Jackson Hole and Alaska, Frosty Flakes dives deeper into Storm Show’s grassroots style, sharing stories of passion fueled adventures deep in the mountains. Featuring a fresh cast of Jackson WY based athletes, this years film ventures into the expanse of the Northwestern Rockies and Teton Region as well as an extensive segment dedicated to the great beyond in Alaska. “It’s one of Storm Show’s longer and better films. The addition of Halverson and Mandel to the Storm Show team takes Frosty Flakes to the next level.” said Darrell Miller. The film has two showings, one at 5:00pm that offers access to the raffle, athletes and good for the whole family and one 8:00 that tends to be a bit more rowdy. Both shows are likely to be packed, so get in early if you want good seats. Tickets are available online, as well at the Center for the Arts in the town of Jackson. Expect plenty of great raffle prizes including new skis, a season pass to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and athletes will be tossing out shwag into the crowd. After the late show, DJ VertOne will be rocking The Rose until late in the evening for the after party. All proceeds from the night benefit local Jackson programs including the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club and the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center. Here we go Jackson Hole, it’s about to be game time!
