Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will commence with another ‘strip-ripping’ good time on Turkey Day this year, though thankfully, there is more to gobble about than a mere Werner-style death strip. Boasting nearly 3000 vertical feet scheduled to open among the Teewinot, Casper, Apres Vous and Marmot chairs, its bound to be a good-time and excellent way to either work up an appetite or work off some Thanksgiving indulgence.
After Jackson Hole was ranked #1 by both Ski Magazine and Forbes magazine (who uses the Pure Awesomeness Factor, or PAF), the pressure is on for the resort to live up to the hype. The resort is off to a great start with a good base and a good spirit, offering a free ski day to the public on Friday following Thanksgiving. The festivities will continue on Friday evening with the lighting of the town square in downtown Jackson.
87” of natural snow combined with an impressive arsenal of snow making will help ensure great day for those who celebrate another season of good times, good vibes and good lines at JHMR.
