If you are not familiar with efforts of Texas based Plains Exploration and Production to drill natural gas in the headwaters of the Hoback River near Jackson Wyoming, you should be. This video, produced by The Center for American Progress, in partnership with the Sierra Club, is part of the three-part series titled “Public Lands, Private Profits”. According to the many conservation groups, natural gas drilling in the Noble Basin of Bridger Teton National Forest would mean an ignoble end for one of Wyoming’s spectacular natural settings, and ruin the way of life for its residents.
