Wednesday Night Lights Season Finale

Stop #4 in the Jackson Hole Freeride Club Wednesday Night Lights series went down at Snow King with competitors braving variable condition for a shot at the coveted Avalon7 Cup. Over 30 skiers and snowboarders showed up to the event and challenged themselves against the newly redesigned terrain park. The final stop featured a technical C Rail and a skate park spine in the flats. The level of talent at stop #4 raised the bar for both skiers and riders as amplitude and progression increased throughout the sessions. Towards the end of ski jam, groms were hucking front flips and rodeos off a mini kicker – it was pretty insane! The Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club is training some very talented athletes and it showed at Wednesday Night Lights.

Rob Kingwill presided over the competition as skiers and riders challenged for the coveted Avalon7 Cup.

The winner of the 4th Wednesday Night Light series showcased his skill on the down flat down rail.

The Jackson Hole Freeride Club judges the event, keeping track of points and best trick.

Stop #4 Grom Champion Jack Johnson sent it in the park & has incredible skill for his age, hitting rails and jumps with authority!

The C Rail was a technical feature that required balance and just the right amount of speed.

Best Trick champion went big in the lower section of the course that featured an up rail, tube, and down rail

It was awesome to see each rider try new tricks and mix up their run. Check out that wall ride!

Kingwill hands out raffle prizes from one of the many sponsors of the event. Every participant left with a prize. Sponsors rock!
