Jackson Hole Holiday Season Events & Activities

Happy Holidays from The Mountain Pulse

Jackson Hole is a special place to spend the holidays. There’s a certain charm associated with the season that brings out the best in our rustic mountain setting. From the downtown echo of wooden sidewalks to sleigh rides on the elk refuge, we are surrounded by sights of the season. And of course, lets not forget the thousands of riders descending upon Teton Village this holiday for a shot at The Big One.

As predicted, the winter season has started off with moderately light snowfall. La Nina associated winter patterns will take a bit more time to evolve, as Mountain Weather advised at Avalanche Awareness Night. Until the faucet in the sky turns on, efforts by snow making teams at Jackson Hole, Snow King and Grand Targhee have made it possible to open more trails than previously anticipated.

This holiday season, we spotlight activities that welcome visitors and locals alike to explore all that Jackson Hole and the Greater Teton Region has to offer.
