On Saturday, Teewinot Chairlift and the Jackson Hole Mountain Bike trails open to the public. Riders are getting into shape and a buzz is in the air about on the improved Jackson Hole Bike Park designed by Gravity Logic.

There are a number of mountain biking events on the calendar this summer. As the popularity of mountain biking around the Greater Teton area increases, so will events to celebrate the sport. So far, the following events are planned for the summer of 2011:

* 6/18/11: Jackson Hole Bike Park Opening Day Party 
* 6/25: Opening Day & Hill Climb Party at Grand Targhee
*7/6/11: Cache Creek to Game Creek Race
* 7/22-24: Wydaho Bikefest at Grand Targhee
* 7/24: Grand Targhee Downhill Mountain Bike Race #1
