the Mountain Pulse Jackson Hole Skiing Snowboarding

The violence of the slash turn catapulted snow into the air. Reuniting with a reliably awesome wall ride on Pepi’s Ridge, I couldn’t help but feel a presence. As flakes exploded past, the thought of friends not present to explore the endless bounty of Jackson Hole boiled to the surface. Amongst the silence of the trees though, they were there in spirit. Some say every day skiing is a good day. They’re right. However every day riding with your posse`, now that’s something special.

Driving winds and scattered snowfall kicked into gear the steps towards recovery from yesterday’s sun bake. North facing aspects at upper elevations rode very well with pow stashes revealing themselves between trees as the day progressed. The relaxed atmosphere left classic lines open to explore with little pressure to act quickly. The mountain is reporting RPK 1 tonight with a stronger storm system expected to move into the area tomorrow. NOAA has issued a hazardous weather warning for the western Wyoming mountains. Get ready Jackson Hole.. we’re not done yet!
