The Mountain Pulse Jackson Hole

FOUR HUNDRED AND ONE INCHES! Whooa La Niña! Bam-ba-lam! Last night’s four inches tipped the snow scales, propelling Jackson Hole into a new realm of possibility. Cliffs and couloirs once deemed questionable are now doable. This past week witnessed the rare opening of such burly inbounds lines as Alta Zero, as well as a no holds barred huckfest on “Hollywood” and the right side of Corbet’s. With the bomb holes to prove, many have been sneaking into the “Liquor Cabinets” and getting their fill of ten to fifteen footers like sweet nips of Rumplemintz. Though blue finally broke through today, La Niña looks to shake up the snow globe in days to come.
