Spring Skiing…Already?
Soaking rays and draining suds on the mid-mountain deck of Casper Restaurant perfectly capped off a mellow day at Teton Village. The savory smoke billowing from Casper’s outdoor grill floated into the airwaves of Sublime’s Bradley Nowell singing out from beyond the grave: “summah time and the livins easy…” Indeed, the living was easy today as unseasonable warmth churned the hardpack into soft-served deliciousness. Bumps, trees, and groomers, all skied well wherever the sun lay. Sure it’s not the pow pow that we all want, but there is nothing wrong with cruising down Slalom in a t-shirt in February.
