Hundred Days

01/10/11

The Mountain Pulse Jackson Hole

With single digit temps flirting with zero throughout the day, ripping groomers was much like entering into an ice cream-eating contest: that belly-buster is so delicious, but soon becomes mind-numbing. So after tearing some Gondie laps, I hit the Crags in hopes of harvesting deeper turns. Surprisingly, the snow was in terrific form, affording a taste of the goods I’ve been hankering for over the last week. Once again, it just goes to show that there’s almost always powder for those willing work for it.
