Hundred Days

01/07/11

The Mountain Pulse Jackson Hole

As has been characteristic of this season, balmy temperatures foreshadow a snow front. In the meantime, sun-baked groomers made for silky turns down Sundance, Werner, and Laramie, perfect runs to work out the lactic acid. With powder now becoming part of daily ski diets, many mounted the bootpacks, or headed out the gates to scavenge any remaining stashes. In the pristine light, it was an optimal day to scout out lines for the upcoming dump.
